Textile acquisitions since 2000 have included further work by Alison Morton, Sue Hartree, Geraldine St Aubyn-Hubbard and Mary Restieaux in weave. A Heritage Lottery Grant, 'Collecting Cultures' awarded to the Crafts Study Centre in May 2008 will furthermore enable us to add significantly to our Peter Collingwood collection.
In other techniques we have acquired through the generosity of the British Council pieces by Susie Freeman and Sian Tucker. Private donations have enabled us to acquire a screen-printed rayon piece designed by Duncan Grant, a small group of printed scarves by Margaret Holdgate and a group of 'utilitarian' pieces by Marianne Straub.
